Technical
- Operating System Requirement
- Added an operating system check to the ivs-valt package which prevents installation and upgrades on any version of Ubuntu other than 24.04
- Systems running an unsupported version of Ubuntu will remain on their currently installed version of VALT until the operating system is upgraded
- Added logging of blocked installations to the system log, viewable with 'journalctl -t ivs-valt'
- Added an IVS Support override to bypass the operating system check, which logs a warning when it is used
- Camera Management Menu
- Updated the ivs-valt-menu package to require Python 3.12
- Updated the Python virtual environment to be created with Python 3.12 and automatically rebuild if it was previously created with a different Python version
- Pipelines
- Updated the wheel download to target the correct platform and Python version for Ubuntu 24.04
