🕮
Calendar Integration is compatible with VALT 6.5.

Required Information

In order to configure and setup Calendar Integration with VALT, the following information needs to be setup:

  • Your environment must utilize Microsoft AD/Azure (M365 or Microsoft 365).

  • Rooms
    • Each VALT Room must be associated with the email address of a Microsoft 365 Resource Room mailbox.
      • This allows the room to receive and manage calendar bookings

  • Users
    • Each VALT User must be associated with an email address that has an active Microsoft 365 mail license.
      • This allows the user to create, view, and manage calendar events

  • All accounts that are going to be used with calendars require a minimum of a Microsoft 365 Business Basic License

Important Things to Know

  • With Calendar Integration enabled, when a schedule is created in VALT, it will create a calendar block on the M365 Resource Room

  • Enabling "Send email schedule notifications" will only send out email invites to users the schedule is shared with

  • Individual users can turn off the email schedule notifications under their individual user settings if they wish to not receive them
